Trinity County Deputies Arrest Man Accused Of Sex Crimes With A Child At Cannabis Grow

A man was captured at a Trinity County cannabis grow site after being accused of sex crimes. 66-year-old Gilbert Cha of Sacramento is accused of rape, human trafficking, false imprisonment and poisoning. The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office interviewed the alleged victim and got an arrest warrant for Cha, as well as a search warrant for the place in Trinity Pines near Hayfork where the alleged crimes occurred. The raid was done on Tuesday, resulting in the arrest of Cha and the destruction of almost 3,000 Pounds of processed cannabis bud.
