Man Who Intentionally Sparked Fires In Red Bluff City Park Sentenced To 4 Years In Prison

A Red Bluff arsonist has been sentenced. 33-year-old Jeremy Dwayne Schulte was arrested June 2nd and charged with starting four fires. Three of the fires were set at Red Bluff City Park, where Schulte burned the property of other homeless people, including two tents, with the flames spreading to surrounding vegetation. He also set a fire under the Reeds Creek Bridge that caused significant structural damage that had to be repaired. The fires were lit when Schulte was already on Post Release Supervision. He’s been sentenced to 4 years in state prison.
