Parolee Found With Fentanyl During Traffic Stop Sentenced To 7 Year In Prison

A man arrested in Red Bluff in April with a lot of Fentanyl and a stolen gun has been sentenced. 25-year-old Miguel Angel Banuelos was on parole for assault with a firearm, which is why he and the car he was driving were searched after he was stopped for a traffic violation. Officers reported finding around 500 pills containing Fentanyl, almost 11 Grams of powdered Fentanyl, $1,800 and a stolen loaded gun. When officers tried to take Banuelos into custody, he ran, jumping over a fence into a trailer park. He’s been sentenced to more than 7 years in state prison.
