Former Neurologist Sentenced To Prison For Sexually Assaulting Patients

A former Redding neurologist, Dr. Hamid Rabiee was sentenced to 27 years in prison Tuesday after being found guilty of over 60 county of sexual assault on female patients. Court records show that Rabiee was arrested in 2018 after several women came forward to report the assaults. A total of 18 women came forward during the investigation. On Tuesday he was found guilty on 63 counts against him. He must serve 85% of his sentence, and will pay $10,000 in court fees, and $10,000 to the victims compensation fund.
