Trinity River Cleanup This Saturday

Volunteers are invited to help clean up the Trinity River. The Bureau of Land Management and their partners will be working the BLM-managed wild and scenic stretch of the river. Participants will be divided into teams who will either float downriver or walk the banks collecting trash along the way. Organizers will provide gloves, trash bags, safety equipment and instructions. Volunteers should wear work clothes and closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle. A BBQ lunch will be served after the cleanup. Anyone interested should meet at the Douglas City Volunteer Fire Department on Steiner Flat Road at 9am this Saturday (6/25). Pre-registration can be done by emailing mwilliams@tcrd.net
