Chronic Offender Will Remain In Jail Pending Courts Action

A 28-year-old woman has been added to Shasta County’s Chronic Offender Accountability Program, meaning a jail bed is reserved for her pending court action. The program was started to reduce the number of failures to appear with the county’s repeat offenders. In the last last two years the DA’s Office has filed 8 cases against Amber Baldry, including 4 felonies for vehicle theft or attempted vehicle theft. Her next court date is Thursday.
