23 COVID-19 Deaths Reported By Shasta County Public Health

Like a recurring bad dream, COVID-19 continues to haunt Shasta County. Over the past week, another 23 deaths by Coronavirus were confirmed by Shasta County Public Health, ranging in age from their 50s to over age 89. With 46 new cases, the transmission case rate has moved back up to moderate. 42 known cases remain active, with 8 people hospitalized, 4 of them in intensive care.
