Ribbon-Cutting Held For 112,000 Square Foot Computer Center At Shasta College

Shasta College has opened their new state-of-the-art computer information systems building. A ribbon-cutting was held this week for the newly-built 12,000 square foot building, but it’s been open to students since January. It’s equipped to allow students and faculty to explore and develop digital and hands-on skills in the unique technology-centered classrooms and labs, including a lab space to focus on robotics and drone technology. The facility was funded by the 2016 bond initiative that secured $139 Million for the Shasta-Tehama-Trinity Community College District.
