Thief With Prior Strike Sentenced To More Than 7 Years In Prison

A convicted Red Bluff thief is getting a longer prison sentence due to a prior strike conviction. 26-year-old Gabrial Trevino was arrested December 11th. He had broken into a car and stolen a Ruger 9 millimeter handgun, several knives and various hunting gear. When he was identified as a suspect, his home was searched and the handgun was found, along with an unregistered ghost gun. On another occasion, Trevino cut three locks off a fenced yard behind a warehouse. He failed to get into the building, but he attached a custom trailer from the yard to his truck and drove away with it. Trevino’s been given a prison sentence of more than 7 years.
