City Of Redding & Interfaith Shasta Will Honor Shasta County Residents Killed By COVID-19

An exhibition will be placed on the lawn in front of Redding City Hall to honor the 553 Shasta County residents so far who have died as a result of COVID-19. Each death will be represented by a white landscape flag and a banner will describe why the flags are there. The installation is being put together by the City of Redding along with Shasta Interfaith, which is an association of 23 faith communities. The purpose of the display is to pause and acknowledge those who have passed and those who have experienced their loss.
