Authorities Locate Two At-Risk People Reported Missing Over The Weekend

An at-risk adult lost in the Palo Cedro area for two days and nights was found safe by sheriff’s deputies. The 28-year-old developmentally disabled man went missing Thursday from his family home on Oak Meadow Road. He appeared confused and in fear when he showed up Friday in a house off Seven Lakes Road. A Code Red Alert was sent out Saturday to area phones and the resulting calls led deputies to finding him near North Cow Creek School.

A 12-year-old boy who was reported missing in East Redding Sunday was found by Redding Police. Area residents were notified that the developmentally delayed boy had left the Shadowbrook Apartments on Hartnell Avenue on his bike. He was found safe and returned to his family.
