New Siskiyou Drug Team Makes 2nd Large Bust Of The Week

Siskiyou County’s new multi-agency Domestic Highway Enforcement Team has made another big bust. On Wednesday an agent pulled over an SUV on the Anderson Grade on Southbound Interstate Five for what are identified in the press release as “multiple criminal indicators”. A search reportedly turned up 11 packages containing 10 Pounds of Methamphetamine, as well as almost 2 Pounds of Fentanyl pills labeled “M30”. When an arrest was attempted on the driver, 33-year-old Noel Suniga-Rosas, he ran but was caught several hundred yards away. The female passenger, 33-year-old Maria Lorenzo-Pineda was also arrested.
