If anybody is looking to be a movie star, well, this story is not for them. However, a casting call for nearly a hundred extras has gone out from the makers of a film that’s going to be produced locally. These are paid parts. Costumes are provided for some of them, and for others actors are asked to dress in the appropriate attire. There are several different casting calls for the various parts over the next few weeks, some of them in Redding and some in Anderson. The first casting call is this Friday. A variety of roles will be filled, from police officers to business people to counter culture alternatives, but applicants must be at least 18 years old and have proof of Covid vaccination. There’s a link to all the details on the KQMS Facebook page.
