Increase In COVID-19 Cases Limits County Services, Supervisors Chambers Closed To The Public

Shasta County is limiting in-person services because of an increase in COVID-19 cases. Outbreaks have occurred at a number of county worksites and the number of county workers testing positive is higher than ever. Any business with the county is being done online if possible. Also, the Board of Supervisors Chambers will be closed to the public again until further notice, starting with Tuesday’s meeting. Links to watch online and make comments are on the county website.
