Decision On Controversial Subdivision Planned For Palo Cedro Area Postponed

Long-awaited consideration of a controversial subdivision in the Palo Cedro area will be postponed because of Covid concerns. Because of a county decision to limit in-person attendance, the Planning Commission will meet via teleconference on Wednesday, but only so they can vote to continue the public hearing to another date, yet to be determined. The Paso Robles Subdivision would be 166 homes on 715 acres accessed by Old Alturas Road and Boyle Road. There has been active opposition from neighbors with concerns including water, traffic and fire danger.
