Cal-Fire Reports Says Dixie Fire Was Sparked By PG&E Equipment

Cal-Fire has declared conclusively that the Dixie Fire was caused by a tree coming into contact with PG&E distribution lines in Butte County. The massive fire burned for 103 days through 963,309 acres and more than 1300 structures. It was declared officially 100% contained on October 25th. The case has been handed over to the Butte County District Attorney’s Office for possible criminal charges.
