Cal-Fire wants to remind everyone that despite the cooler temperatures, a burn ban remains in effect. Even as we enter November in a couple of weeks, no burning will be allowed until fire officials declare the fire season over. Vegetation remains extremely dry and conditions are very dangerous. Cal-Fire may issue temporary permits for essential activities such as agriculture, land management and fire training, but only after inspection by Cal-Fire. A lot of information is at readyforwildfire.org.
