RPD: Man Shot In The Head After Dispute On Locust Street

A dispute involving allegedly stolen property has led to the shooting of a Redding man. Just before 11AM Saturday night, 54-year-old Sanderson Miller was brought into the Shasta Regional Emergency Room with a gunshot wound to his head. At last word he was in stable condition. He told officers that at around 9:45PM a Toyota pickup drove onto his lawn on Locust Street and caused damage. He recognized the truck as belonging to 32-year-old Steven Hall, with whom he had an ongoing dispute. About an hour later Miller was standing in his yard when Hall reportedly walked up armed with a handgun and the two had a fight that ended with Miller being shot in the head. The RPD SWAT Team arrested Hall Sunday morning at his home on Alma Avenue. A handgun was recovered and Hall allegedly confessed.
