Crews Gain 70% Containment Of The Fawn Fire

All evacuation orders have been lifted for the Fawn Fire, and residents are being allowed to return to areas damaged by the fire. On Tuesday afternoon all mandatory orders were lifted, but a number of warnings remain in effect. Only residents will be allowed in to the areas under evacuation warning. Cal-Fire is reporting that 185 structures have been lost and another 26 were damaged in the fire. 80 structures remain threatened. Monday afternoon Cal-Fire reported that forward progress had been stopped, and the fire is now 75% contained after burning 8595 acres.
