Klamath Fires Burn More 254,000 Since Late July

The River Complex in Klamath National Forest is now 186,450 acres and containment has improved to 40%. Evacuation orders are in effect for Callahan, Mosquito Lake, Eagle Creek, and Sawyers Bar. That’s in addition to Cecilville, Summerville, Petersburg and more of the Coffee Creek area.

The Antelope Fire is burning in the Antelope Creek Drainage east of Mount Shasta. There’s been very little movement on the fire, now 145,000 acres, with 66% containment. Evacuations remain for areas east of Forest Road 15, Davis Road, south of Bonita Butte, west of Fourmile Hill, north of Little Glass Mountain, and Medicine Lake.

The McCash Fire in a remote area of the Marble Mountain Wilderness in the area of Ten Bear Mountain and McCash Creek has grown to 77,220 acres with 11% containment.
