Teen Charged With Murder After Auburn Man Dies From Stab Wounds

A man who was found on South Market Street with multiple stab wounds has died at a Redding hospital. 56-year-old Felix Ramirez of Auburn, who was apparently homeless, lay bleeding in the roadway between Ellis and Grange Streets at 11 O’clock the night of August 25th. Video surveillance showed Ramirez being viciously attacked in the parking lot of a closed business. That led to the arrest of a 17-year-old boy walking on Terrill Street with blood stains on his clothing. He remains in Juvenile Hall and now face a murder charge after Ramirez died Friday morning.
