Lightning Sparked Fires Continue To Burn Across The Klamath National Forest

Containment on the River Complex in Klamath National Forest has been significantly reduced to 14%. The fires have burned a total of 112,150 acres. An evacuation order remains in effect for Cecilville, Summerville, Petersburg and Coffee Creek.

The Antelope Fire is another Klamath Lightning Fire. It’s burning in the Antelope Creek Drainage, now around 71,500 acres with containment of 73%. Evacuation orders remain in effect for Duck Lake, but most other orders have been reduced to warnings.

The McCash Fire in the Marble Mountain Wilderness in the area of Ten Bear Mountain and McCash Creek has now burned more than 45,000 acres with 1% containment.
