31 New Positive COVID-19 Cases In Shasta County

Shasta County has reported another 31 confirmed Coronavirus cases and 944 negative tests, for a total so far of 12,252 cases. 226 people have died of Covid. An estimated 151 people have the virus right now, 11 are hospitalized and 1 is in intensive care.


Vaccine is now available in Shasta County for children as young as 12, with parental consent. Starting this Friday Pfizer vaccine clinics will be held at the Redding Senior Center on Benton Drive Fridays through Tuesdays from 10AM to 7PM, closed for lunch from 2PM to 3PM. Walk-ins will be welcome or appointments can be made at myturn.ca.gov . Vaccines are free of charge for everyone. No vaccinated person in Shasta County has died from COVID-19, or from the vaccine.


Tehama County has reported 5,590 cases and 59 deaths.
There have been 406 cases and 5 deaths in Trinity County.
2,288 have been reported in Siskiyou County with 26 deaths.
Butte County has reported 187 deaths among their 11,922 cases.
Lassen County has had 22 deaths among their 2,126 cases in the community and 2 deaths among the 3,594 cases in prison.
Humboldt County has had 4,166 cases and 42 deaths.
Modoc County has had 502 cases and 4 deaths.
