Two more covid deaths were reported in Shasta County on Wednesday. The latest victims were a woman in her 80s and a woman over the age of 89. The total number of deaths is now 210.15 new positive tests were reported bringing the total to 11,480. The estimated number of active cases is 120. 5 people are hospitalized and 2 are in intensive care.
Friday’s vaccine clinic at Shasta College will have Spanish language and American Sign Language interpreters available. You can sign up at myturn.ca.gov.
As of Thursday morning the Redding Rancheria Tribal Health Clinic is still accepting names for a standby COVID-19 vaccination list. Anyone 18 and older in Shasta County can sign up online at rrths.org/covid-vaccination. The health clinic says that once the list reaches 750 people no more names will be taken. The clinic may call those registered on short notice as openings become available.
Tehama County has reported 5,348 cases and 56 deaths.
There have been 393 cases and 5 deaths in Trinity County.
1,890 have been reported in Siskiyou County with 16 deaths.
Butte County has reported 178 deaths among their 11,198 cases.
Lassen County has had 22 deaths among their 2,062 cases in the community and 2 deaths among the 3,594 cases in prison.
Humboldt County has had 3,507 cases and 36 deaths.
Modoc County has had 480 cases and 4 deaths.
