One Of Shasta County’s Most Wanted Sentenced To State Prison

A Shasta County woman has been given a long prison sentence for drug dealing. 24-year-old Cassie Rayner-Seals has a lengthy arrest history and was one of Shasta County’s Most Wanted with multiple warrants when she was arrested last August after a Redding Police Officer witnessed a drug transaction. A search of her and her car turned up $8,000 cash, some fake $50 bills, a scale and baggies, drug dealing records, multiple cell phones, Meth, and prescription drugs. Under state law, drug sales sentences are served in county jail, but when she was arrested she was on probation for a prison eligible offense. Last week after pleading guilty to possession of Meth for sale, Rayner-Seals was sentenced to 6-years-4-months in state prison.
