An intensive search for a woman missing from Redding has ended with tragic results. 24-year-old Tiala Schmidt left her family’s home Monday and nobody had heard from her, which was apparently very out of character. Redding Police had issued an appeal to the public to help locate the missing mother. Her husband tracked her cell phone and found her deceased Tuesday in Western Shasta County. The RPD says there does not appear to be any sign of foul play.
