One lane has opened for travelers on Highway 96 in Siskiyou County. The highway has been blocked by a massive volume of dirt and rocks about 4 miles west of Happy Camp. Last Thursday more material slid down the mountainside, completely blocking both directions. 24 hour one way traffic control is now in effect.
