Shasta Lake Council To Discuss Replacement For Council Member Who Passed Away

The City of Shasta Lake needs to decide on a replacement for a city council member who passed away. 84-year-old Larry Farr was on the city council for 25 years and served as mayor five times. He was re-elected for another term last year. As a civil engineer, Farr had a hand in many projects for the young city. He died January 20th after being in a car crash two days earlier. The council is meeting Tuesday night, and they’ll discuss whether to appoint a replacement for Farr, or hold a special election and put it to voters.
