Cal-Fire Investigating PG&E Equipment As Cause For Zogg Fire

The Zogg Fire has been defeated, with official containment of 99%. The fire that started September 27th burned 56,338 acres. 204 structures were destroyed and 27 damaged. The Zogg claimed 4 civilian fatalities and an inmate firefighter injury. All evacuations and closures have been lifted.

Fire investigators are looking into whether PG&E caused the Zogg Fire. Cal-Fire investigators have taken possession of equipment belonging to Pacific Gas and Electric. The company says in a filing Friday with the Public Utilities Commission that investigators seized some of its electrical equipment near where the Zogg Fire started September 27th.
