A man was found murdered in Round Mountain after sheriff’s deputies who happened to be in the area heard gunshots. It was 10 O’clock Monday night near Highway 299 and Bakus Road. The deputies heard the shots coming from the direction of Windy Point Road about a quarter mile away. When they went to check it out they found a still-unidentified Hispanic man near the road recently deceased with gunshot wounds to his upper body. Nearby witnesses reported hearing a verbal argument just before the gunshots.
