About 21,000 PG&E Customers Could Face Power Shutoffs

PG&E says that power may be turned off in several Northern California counties this weekend to prevent wildfires. The company says that about 21,000 customers in parts of Butte, Plumas, and Yuba Counties can expect to be without power starting Saturday evening. The forecast is calling for hot, and windy conditions. So far Shasta County has not been added to the shutoff, but that could change with the weather conditions.
