COVID-19 Cases Spike In Shasta County, 5 More Dead In Butte County

Shasta County’s Coronavirus cases are climbing again, with 16 from Friday and 25 from Saturday, for a total so far of 709 cases and 14 deaths. Of the 41 new cases, 25 reported symptoms. There are currently 50 active cases, and three of them are hospitalized. 172 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.

Butte County has reported 5 more deaths for a total of 40, with 2,748 cases. Tehama County has had 498 cases and 4 deaths. Trinity County has had 15 cases.Glenn County has had 563 cases and 3 deaths. Lassen County has had 98 cases in the community, in addition to 636 in the prison population. There have been 161 in Siskiyou County and 482 in Humboldt County with now 6 deaths. Modoc County has now reported 24 cases.
