Redding Police held a sobriety checkpoint Friday night and the only DUI arrest was a 33-year-old man who apparently tried to avoid the checkpoint. Between 6PM and 10:30PM, a total of 720 vehicles passed through the checkpoint on North Market at Benton Drive and all drivers were screened by officers. Four were cited for driving on a suspended license and three for driving with no license.
