There will be traffic issues this weekend in Anderson as road construction crews install girders as part of the Redding to Anderson Six Lane Project. Between 8PM and 6AM Friday night through Sunday night northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane and the northbound onramp from Deschuttes Road will be closed. The speed limit will be 55 miles an hour. There will be 18 girders installed, each 110 to 146 feet long and weighing up to 87 tons. The job was going to begin Thursday night but there were crane issues.
