A trio of home invasion robbery suspects in Chico practically fell into the laps of officers as they were enjoying coffee and doughnuts. Early Monday morning the Chico Officers were at the Donut Nook on East Avenue when a car pulled in occupied by three people. When the driver, Shayla Robins-Bailey, got out the officers say they heard and saw a Meth pipe hit the pavement. The officers took a closer look and found that passenger Matthew Consadine had a loaded semi-auto pistol in his waistband. A search of the car reportedly revealed two more semi-auto guns, drugs and a lot of money. About 15 minutes into the search, a man called 9-1-1 and said he had been robbed. He said he was sleeping at his home when Consadine and Joseph Lawrence woke him, pistol whipped him, and threatened to kill him if he called police. They left with his wallet, cell phone and cash, all of which was found in the car.
