The father of a triple murderer is still missing and a reward is offered by Secret Witness to find him. On June 27th 35-year-old Daun Eric Sanders shot three people at a home on Gail Lane off Dersch Road, about a mile from Highway 44. Jon Depoorter, Michael Stanfill, and Stephanie Currie were killed. On July 1st Daun Sanders died on a Southern California freeway after running away from a traffic collision. Sanders was a resident of Gail Lane, though the shooting did not occur at his home. He was the sole caregiver for his 80-year-old father, Bill Sanders, who is diabetic and has trouble hearing, seeing and walking. He’s been missing since 2 days before the murders, when he called his daughter on the phone and asked her to come pick him up. Detectives believe Bill may have met with foul play committed by his son. A $5,000 reward is available for anonymous tips at 243-2319 or http://scsecretwitness.com.
