Man Sentenced For Large Tehama County Drug Bust

A 38-year-old man has been sentenced after being busted with a very large quantity of drugs. The case against Victor Castro-Aguilar was investigated by Tehama Interagency Drug Enforcement. At the time of his arrest Castro-Aguilar was in possession of a suitcase that contained more than 21 pounds of methamphetamine. After reaching a plea deal, Castro-Aguilar has pled guilty to transportation of meth for sale to a non-contiguous county, and he’s been sentenced to 3 years in Tehama County Jail followed by 3 years mandatory supervision.
