Coronavirus Death Is Eleventh For Shasta County

Shasta County has reported another COVID-19 death, for a total of eleven. The latest to pass was a man in his 80s. There were 11 new cases on Saturday and Sunday, bringing the total to 508. The new patients range in age from under 13 to over 70. There are 37 active cases. Seven patients are hospitalized, three of them in intensive care. 215 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.
Butte County has had 1,421 cases with 12 fatalities. Trinity County reported 2 more Friday for a total of 8. Tehama County has had 318 with one death. Glenn County has had 413 cases with 3 deaths. Lassen County’s last report showed 75 cases in the community, in addition to 619 in the prison population. There have been 113 in Siskiyou County and 309 in Humboldt County with 4 deaths. Modoc County has had 5 cases and all have recovered.
