Shasta County added 8 new cases on Wednesday for a total of 476, likely catching up from the backlog following a problem with the state database. 6 of the new patients have symptoms, ranging from a woman in her 20’s to a woman in her 60s. There are 40 active cases. 2 people are hospitalized, both in intensive care. 285 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.
Butte County has had a total of 1305 cases with 8 deaths. Tehama County has had 303 with one death. Trinity County reported a 6th patient Tuesday. Glenn County has had 396 cases and 3 deaths. Lassen County has had 72 cases in the community, in addition to 611 in the prison population. There have been 102 in Siskiyou County and 286 in Humboldt County with 4 deaths. Modoc County has had 5 cases.
