Shasta County added 10 new cases on Tuesday for a total of 469. 7 of the new patients reported symptoms, and they include a teenage boy. The other patients range in age from their 20’s to their 80’s. A 10th death was reported on Friday. Public Health says the new cases include the rest of a backlog of tests following a problem with the state database. There are 39 active cases. 2 people are hospitalized, with both patients in intensive care. 283 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.
Butte County has had a total of 1280 cases with 8 deaths. Tehama County has had 303 with one death. There have been 5 in Trinity County. Glenn County has had 396 cases and 3 deaths. Lassen County has had 72 cases in the community, in addition to 611 in the prison population. There have been 102 in Siskiyou County and 282 in Humboldt County with 4 deaths. Modoc County has had 5 cases.
