Line Up

WEEKDAYS

“Big Jim” is a true local boy. Born and raised in Northern California, Big Jim has been in radio since the summer of 1990 when a local Country station let him come to work part-time on the weekend. The rest as they say is history. Big Jim is “dad” to two teenage boys and has been married to the love of his life for 20 years. When he’s not on the air all over Northern California, you might catch Jim play guitar and writing songs. Otherwise, it’s either Oakland A’s baseball or Raiders Football. Also, if you want to talk NASCAR, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, or sip some strong black coffee, Big Jim is your man!

Hey Wolfpack! I’m Heather Ryan. Get ready to take a little country ride with the best new country in Chico. Born and raised right here in the North State means something to me. I love this area – I eat, sleep, work and play here just like you! Happily married to my main guy Cody, Mom to our 2 almost grown boys, country is in my heart. I wear many hats in my community, but by far, my favorite is my cowboy hat (ok, ok, a great ball cap works too!). I love all things country. And you can bet if there is a rodeo or concert I can get to, I will be there! Country music is the BEST and I’m honored to bring you all the new music you know and love right here on The Wolf. Turn it on and turn it up, it’s 95.7 The Wolf!
Whitney Allen brings her big personality, big ratings and big energy that she honed on The Big Time Saturday Night to weeknights. The Big Time with Whitney Allen is a live music-intensive Monday-Saturday 7p-12mid country show with high energy, big stars, listener interaction, huge giveaways and a top rated host.

I’m a big fan of music and radio. I have been since I was young. I always dreamed of being on the radio when I grew up….still working on the growing up part but I truly am “Living the dream.” I have 2 daughters, Sydney who is 21, who is recently married and just added a grandchild to the family with the birth of little Ivy in November of 2016 and my youngest daughter Shayla who is 9. I have been a single father raising Sydney since she was 7…so yes…I know how to braid hair!! My main focus now is raising the girls and providing them with fun and unique experiences. I spend time playing rhythm guitar and singing in a band called “SilverBridge.” I’ve been writing songs for many years and released a solo CD a few years back and I’m working on more material for the next album. I also enjoy playing Tennis, Golf and Disc Golf. My dad owned “The Earth Station 1,” an arcade upstairs in the downtown mall so I’ve always loved arcade games. Because I refuse to grow up I now have collected many of the classic 80’s full size arcade games including Defender, Millipede, Asteroids Deluxe, Donkey Kong, Pac man, Galaga and a 1970’s KISS Pinball Machine. I believe that life is a celebration and I choose to celebrate it everyday!

Kingsley, who passed away on October 17, 2019, culminates a run on the air unlike any other Country radio personality. With over ten-thousand hours of produced content, Kingsley leaves behind the largest audio library in Country music history, and has the distinction of being on-air longer than any other national radio personality. Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40 teamed with the Country Music Association to place the spotlight on female voices through the Thanksgiving weekend episode, with different female artists guest hosting, including Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Karen Fairchild & Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town, Sara Evans, a spotlight on Females of the Future—with Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Ingrid Andress—and more guest hosts to be announced. For the show’s last four episodes of 2019, the best-selling Country artist of all-time, Garth Brooks, will host the legendary program in honor of Kingsley.

You can always count on New Music Nashville to bring you the newest, hottest hits from the biggest stars in Country music - along with sneak peaks and a contest or two as well! The music you hear on New Music Nashville is indeed some very fine stuff. But it goes without saying, without you the listener, there would be no show. Without the great radio stations all across the country that air this program every week, you'd never hear a bit of it. If you enjoy New Music Nashville, please thank the radio station that broadcasts it. Make a call, send an email, a text, anything... just let them know you appreciate what they do.
